Steamboatin' Down the Mississippi and on Roads Too!
This spring, the former American Queen paddlewheeler will re-launch for a new line -- Great American Steamboat Company -- on the Mississippi and other heartland rivers.
In the marketing hoopla that's leading up to the line's first cruises in April, the company has released a sneak peek photo of its "Steamcoach" -- essentially a painted motorcoach that resembles the physical look of the river boat itself.

Seeing this motor down the road will likely be a head turning experience for pedestrians. From the Americana architectural features to the people standing on deck and the big red paddlewheel, the painted coach is a river boat on wheels of sorts.
Great American Steamboat has five of these new Steamcoaches. They'll follow the route of each cruise so when guests disembark at each port of call, the snazzy coaches will be waiting. Guests will enjoy getting to know their tour guides who will be with them throughout the cruise.
