Carnival Sailing into Charleston "Year-Round"!
Starting May 18, Carnival Cruise Lines (www.carnival.com ) re-positions Carnival Fantasy to the Port of Charleston, SC, for year-round cruising.
The 2,056-passenger Carnival Fantasy will operate five-, six- and seven-day voyages to The Bahamas and Key West, FL, from the Passenger Terminal in historic Charleston.
To promote the start of those cruises, Carnival brought its mascot and a huge slide to Charleston this past week. (Check out our News Flash article with a few photos from the event; just visit the far left column to select: "Carnival Sails Into Charleston Year-Round")
Carnival donated $1 for every person who slid down its "Fun Ship slide" up to $5,000, to the MUSC Children’s Hospital. Thousands of sliders and participants enjoyed the fun event. Carnival donated the full $5,000!
Want to know more about the Carnival Fantasy? I've posted a first-hand article about the ship and recent "Evolutions of Fun" onboard upgrades. Follow "read more" below...
